Questions to keep beside your health notes
Bring your history and your questions
Keep this in mind
Bring the things you want understood, even if they feel hard to explain. Notes can hold the thread when a conversation feels rushed.
Put these on your page
- What would you like treatment to help you change about your health?
- Which medicines and supplements do you take?
- What health problems and past treatments need explaining?
- What would make the cost or follow-up hard to manage?
A short list is enough to begin. Use your own words. Ask the person treating you to explain any term that does not make sense.
Keep this in mind
The health-history questions have a purpose. Ask what an answer changes about the plan.
Health history worth having ready
Wegovy medicine information checked September 26, 2026.
Wegovy’s official medicine information, called the label, explains why these past health problems matter. Tell the person treating you about severe problems with food leaving your stomach, eye damage from diabetes, or cancer of the thyroid, a small gland in the neck. Include thyroid cancer in your family, even if you do not know the exact kind. Also mention past inflammation of the pancreas, called pancreatitis, or any gallbladder disease you have been told you have. Health history to discuss
Also bring the names of other diabetes medicines you take, any pregnancy plans and any operations or medical procedures coming up. Other history to discuss

A good question can be very plain: “What would make you advise a different plan?”
Questions to take into the consultation
- Which exact product are we discussing, and why this one?
- What else could we consider?
- What information is still missing?
- If a test is needed, who arranges it and explains the result?
- How can I ask another question after this conversation?
Before ending the visit, try saying the plan back in your own words. Leave with the questions you still need answered written down.
